Riot In Little India, Dec 8, 2013

The SCDF was alerted to a road traffic accident involving a bus and a pedestrian at on the junction of Race Course Road and Tekka Lane. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Projectiles were thrown at the SCDF rescue crew while they were extricating the body of the victim. A total of 9 SCDF vehicles were damaged in the incident. 5 vehicles were burnt - 1 SCDF ambulance, 2 Police vehicles and a Police motorbike.
