How do I choose the perfect hotel for my trips? In this video I will explain how I go about choosing the perfect hotel and how I then book it. There are two things I won’t consider when looking for accommodation overseas, and I’ll explain what they are and why this is the case. I’ll then talk about an analysis performed by on 148 million reviews received, from which they developed the formula for a perfect hotel. I’m not sure I agree with their conclusions, but I’ll talk about what I do agree with, and end up with the 5 most important factors I take into account. I’ll then use two websites to filter the options and produce a shortlist. Then I’ll show how I make my final decision, and talk about the three main options for booking. I recorded this video at a different time of the day and have ended up with a rather odd tinting to the recording.
