During the UN Climate Summit (COP21) in Paris, visual artist Olafur Eliasson and geologist Minik Rosing unveiled Ice Watch. Supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies and realized in partnership with creative sustainability charity Julie’s Bicycle, Ice Watch showcased 80 tons of ice from a fjord outside Nuuk, Greenland with the aim of inspiring public action against climate change.
