Tecmo World Cup (Sega Genesis / Megadrive)

To celebrate England’s recent success at failing to secure hosting of the World Cup until 2030, here is a review I did of the greatest footballing game ever to focus on the tournament in question. It’s Tecmo, the wizards who brought you big breasted ladies twatting the hell out of each other a few years later on the PS2, and also Bomb Jack, an early anti-terrorist training simulator. This football game broke new boundaries with it’s burly men chasing after balls on a park, becoming the second most iconic gay videogame after Super Mario Bros on the Nintendo.
