Ember Route Action Helper Tutorial

In this video I’ll explain how to use the Ember Route Action Helper addon made by the good people at Dockyard. As per the documentation: The route-action helper allows you to bubble closure actions, which will delegate it to the currently active route hierarchy per the bubbling rules explained under actions. Like closure actions, route-action will also have a return value. In the past I’ve talked about how Controllers are dead. That’s not the case, at least not yet. If you like to get rid of controllers, you’ll need to use sendAction. Closure actions don’t bubble to the route. The route action helper fixes this among other things.
