The 2024 Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo ($300,249 in Canada, $230,115 in the US) is up against its older and much cheaper ancestor, the 2008 Maserati GranTurismo ($35,000 in Canada, $26,016 USD converted). The new model may have lost the growling Ferrari V8 of yesteryear, but it has been replaced by a much faster and more powerful twin-turbo V6 ‘Nettuno’ engine. Over 100 horsepower separates these two GranTurismos, and the new model has lots of new tech and engineering to bring it into modern day.
