Tiny Ancient Egyptian Wooden Lock Box

I tried to make a tiny version of an ancient Egyptian wooden lock. Did I pull it off? I’ve seen several people make a wooden lock, but I wanted to try to do it on a much smaller scale. Can I make one for small project such as wooden box? I made a wood box with a lid that pivots. The wooden lock has a latch that locks the lid from underneath. I saw an episode of The Woodwright’s Shop in which Roy Underhill was making a wooden lock. This is a design that’s been around since Ancient Egypt. If you’ve never tried to make an ancient Egyptian wooden lock I recommend giving it a shot. It’s a really cool woodworking project.
