Building the Original Stan Winston Creatures Website

FULL STORY here: In 1998, Stan Winston Studio was experiencing a pause in its project schedule following the success of the beloved action comedy film, Small Soldiers. Besides the work for hire that had established the studio, for a long time, Stan Winston had been creating his own intellectual properties (IP)--iconic characters and creatures. Suddenly, he had the team and they had the time to bring these characters to life, as actual figures. Stan envisioned collectibles, comics, trading cards, all with his original creatures, characters and storylines. In the early 2000s, Flash websites were skyrocketing in popularity. The studio website had launched and was getting attention. A Stan Winston Creatures #website seemed like the best way to introduce, support and promote the proposed line of #toys.
