This is a dry cleaners guide to removing old yellow stains that usually show up at the underarm and collar of white tee shirts. Here is what you need:
Dish soap, all purpose stain remover, hydrogen peroxide OR powdered oxygen bleach, and some patience
1) Pretreat the soiled areas with warm water and dish soap (1 cup to 1 drop of dish soap)
2) Pretreat the soiled areas with your stain removing spray. Let it sit for an hour if you can.
3) Wash as recommended by the care label.
4) Spray 3% HP on the entire garment and let it air dry OR
5) Soak the garment in hot water and powdered oxygen bleach overnight
6) Rewash
Oxygen bleach is also known as color safe bleach or non chlorine bleach. It takes lots of time to work so be patient!
I do hope this guide helps, happy cleaning 😊
