DIY a Bookcase using a Doweling Jig

How to use a dowel joint jig to drill the holes needed to join the pieces of a bookshelf together. In a previous video we saw how I layout the melamine faced particle boards and how I got all the pieces for the bookshelf. I also prepared the melamine boards so that drilling the holes for the wooden dowels was a simple job. These type of drilling jigs are fairly easy to use, and are designed to work with a few tricks that make the holes in the sides of the shelf very easy to line up with the dowel holes on the edge of the shelf boards.
