CINEMATICZ | ISSMAT - “TALE OF THE DOVE“ 2023

“Tale of the Dove“ ist ein Non-Profit-Kurzfilmporträt des Künstlers “Issmat“, dem in Deutschland lebenden Künstler syrischer Herkunft. “Issmat“ ist eine Marke für sich selbst, mit einer Vorliebe für Kunst, Kultur & die Menschen. Intention dieses Projekt ist es, die Faszination für die Kunst zu teilen, eine Brücke zwischen Orient & Okzident, zwischen Ost & West zu schlagen, von einem Menschen, der das Leben liebt & durch seine Kunstwerke spricht. Dies sollte audiovisuell transportiert & auf würdige weise nachempfunden werden können. Dieses Projekt wurde inhouse bei Cinematicz im Creative-Studios in Ulm realisiert. Mit einer kleinen Crew, dem Künstler Issmat und mir, und seinem Sohn als Creative Director und Supervisor, war die Vision für den Film, die Welt von Issmats Gemälden zu erschaffen, in der wir die Kunst zum Leben erwecken, die Geschichte dahinter erzählen - und den Zuschauer direkt in die Gemälde hineinziehen, um eine neue immersive Erfahrung zu schaffen. Der Künstler Issmat erzählt die “Geschichte der Taube“ in einem authentischen Originalinterview und erklärt, warum die Tauben ihren Weg in viele seiner Gemälde gefunden haben. Für dieses Projekt haben wir eine Auswahl von Kunstwerken digitalisiert & u.a. 3D-Projection-Mapping, Color-Extraction & 2,5/3D-Kamerabewegung, 3D-Lightning, und Greenscreen-Compositing eingesetzt, um die Vision zum Leben zu erwecken. Die digitalen Kunstwerke sollten als NFTs verwendet & zusammen mit den Originalgemälden angeboten werden. Ich freue mich, dieses Porträt mit unseren Mitmenschen zu teilen, hier sind wir: auf einer Reise durch die Augen eines Künstlers. Issmat is a brand for itself/himself, with a fable for art, fashion, culture & people. The intention for this project was to share the fascination for art, the build the bridge between the Orient & occident, between East & west, from a human, who loves life & speaks through his artworks. This should be audiovisually transported. We created this project in-house here at Cinematicz-Creative-Studios in Ulm, Germany. With a small crew involved, the artist Issmat & me, and his son as the creative director & supervisor, the vision for the film was, to create the world of Issmat´s paintings in which we give life to the art, tell the story behind it - pulling the audience right into the paintings to create a new immersive experience. The artist Issmat tells the „Tale of the Dove “ in an authentic original interview & explains, why the pigeons found their way into many of his paintings. We digitalized a selection of artworks for this project & used for example 3D-Projection-Mapping, Color-Extraction & 2,5/3D Camera movement, 3D-Lightning, and Greenscreen-Compositing to bring the vision to life. The digital art pieces should be used as NFTs & be offered together with the original paintings.
