WHO declares official end to COVID-19 pandemic | DW News

The World Health Organisation has declared an end to the COVID-19 global health emergency. The UN agency has lifted its highest alert level, which was in place for more than three years. But WHO director general warned that the virus is here to stay, even if it no longer represents an emergency.
