Astonishingly fluid coil building shot during the International Society of Ceramic Art Education and Exchange visit to Gakoigo Pottery Village, Muranga District, Kenya in August 2008. This clip shows the beginning of a careful two-stage process, making generous bellied round based cooking pots. The women potters have an astonishing facility with wet clay. It dances under their hands. Humbling.
