HEXED releases the third new single “STIGMA DIABOLI” taken from the up coming album PAGANS RISING, album out September 30 2022 by ViciSolum Productions.
Pre-order the album here:
The Swedish Symphonic Progressive Metal band HEXED is back with their second album
“Pagans Rising”. Along with the powerful lead vocals of Tina Gunnarsson, this theme album definitely has great songwriting mixed with strong choruses and male growl.
It´s a perfect blend of spellbinding guitar melodies, chugging riffs, dark symphonic orchestrations and progressive elements. It has been written with inspiration and history of Sweden’s witch-hunting hysteria in the late 17th century.
Behind the unique sound of this masterpiece is the talented mixing/mastering engineer Ronnie Björnström (Sorcerer, Meshuggah, Aeon, etc.) This release is a much heavier and darker version of HEXED. Others who have contributed to this album with their skills and professions are Jonah Weingarten(Pyramaze), Teddy Möller (Loch Vostok), Tord Diztord Bäckström (Diztord), Ronny Hemlin (Tad Morose), Giannis Nakos (Remedy Art Design) and Jens Rydén Photography.

Lyrics: STIGMA DIABOLI
So it´s time to hide
The hunt begins right here
for the mark
Stigma Diaboli
The trial, the denial
will never be enough
to prove my innocence
Now I run
Run, I´m running faster
than I have ever done
Hide, hiding in the shadows
where I cannot be found
Where´s my shelter in this storm
when I have nowhere else to go
Stigma Diaboli, Stigma Diaboli
Run, Now I run
My imperfections
will match your only wish
to convict me
I see my sun begins to fade.
Run, I´m running faster than I have ever done
Where´s my shelter in this storm
when I have nowhere else to go
Stigma Diaboli, Stigma Diaboli
Run, Now I run
Where´s my shelter in this storm
when I have nowhere else to go
Stigma Diaboli, Stigma Diaboli
Run, Now I run
