Short & Curlies - The Spy Who Caught a Cold (1995)

A girl is none too pleased when she discovers that her mother has taken her to a nudist camp for their holidays. And she is even less pleased when her mother then falls for one of the campers. But as she decides to stalk her mother’s new boyfriend to find out more about him, is there a ulterior motive behind her actions? Starring Isabella Nightingale Marsh, Lesley Nightingale and James Larkin, this is an episode of the Channel 4 series Short & Curlies, which ran from around 1988 to 1995. This is a find on the end of an old video tape, which I decided to upload on here as you rarely see short films available or repeated on TV. As it’s an old recording, there are some glitches, but it is how I found it and cannot be helped. It features Lesley Nightingale a year before her role as Bel Simpson in Brookside, and you are unlikely to of seen her quite like this! The girl playing her daughter Clozzy is her actual own daughter Isabella, and as it is set in a nudist camp you’ll not be surprised to learn that it features a lot of nudity that spares none of the cast. As well as nudity, it also contains swearing and a sex scene.
