“Take It Or Leave It“ is the first single from the Weapon album “New Clear Power“ which will be released via Pride & Joy Music on May 19th, 2023! NWOBHM band Weapon, led by vocalist/front man Danny Hynes, were formed in 1980. Within 6 months they had signed a worldwide publishing deal with Virgin Music and opened for Motörhead on their 32 dates ‘Ace Up Your Sleeve’ UK tour. They released the double A-sided single ‘It’s A Mad Mad World’/‘Set The Stage Alight’ which reached number 2 in Sounds Magazine’s Top 20. Due to poor management the band split after a couple of years. Fast forward to 2005... The original line-up was invited to play Headbangers Open Air festival in Germany to a rapturous reception. Danny and long-time guitarist Jeff Summers decided to write some songs together and in 2010 they reunited on a permanent basis.
