Ryan Petry´s Appalachian Mountains bike adventure

Join Ryan Petry, professional mountain biker, on a mtb adventure into the unknown. New territory and new bike: he sets off on a route in the Appalachian Mountains but not everything goes to plan... For the past 10 years, Ryan Petry has been racing professionally, shifting from triathlon to endurance mountain biking. He has competed at the top level in many of the toughest 1-day mountain bike races in the country and has put together some massive adventures starting from home in Boulder, Colorado, as well. “If you could go anywhere with your bike, where would you go?“ – that was the question that we asked him. So he planned a route in unknown territory and started his adventure. The route was set, Ryan was ready to go: “With the route set in I booked AirBnb’s in the areas that I would be stopping. The plan was to start in Black Mountain, work my way to Asheville, then the town of Pisgah Forest, and finish in Brevard. 140 miles (225km) with 15,000ft (4500m) of climbing in 3 days was no easy task, so the focus now shifted to preparing my body.“ Go behind the scenes and discover Ryan´s story on our website: #MyCanyon #CLLCTV #CanyonNeuron #TrailBike #MTB Website: Follow Canyon on Instagram: Follow Canyon on Facebook: Follow Canyon on Twitter: Follow Canyon on TikTok: @canyon_bicycles Canyon CLLCTV MTB Follow the Canyon CLLCTV MTB on Instagram: Canyon CLLCTV GRVL Follow the Canyon CLLCTV Gravel on Instagram:
