Making a Field Style Gun Holster - Springfield XD-M 4.5" 10mm

This was my first attempt at making a field style leather gun holster. For this Springfield XD-M 4.5“ 10mm holster, I used two layers of 3-4 ounce Wickett & Craig vegetable tanned leather and bonded nylon thread. If you didn’t want to line the holster, I’d recommend a single layer of 7-8 ounce leather for the body. I begin the video by demonstrating my process for creating the pattern, and then ultimately building the holster. I conclude with a review of the pattern and make a few adjustments that I felt necessary for my next build. I dyed the leather with my Badger 150 airbrush and my Senco PC1010 air compressor. I sealed the leather with Fiebing’s Acrylic Resolene. The leather field style holster was sewn with my Cobra Class 4 from Leather Machine Company. ► PATTERNS: ► IN STOCK ► PATREON: ► FOLLOW: https:/
