Сумах - растение, обладающее противовирусным, бактерицидным и фунгицидным свойствами, укрепляет иммунитет, действует как антидепрессант. Поэтому именно теперь я решила поделиться с вами опытом использования этого ценного природного продукта.
SUMACH DRINK
1. Collect the fruits when red inside (in autumn). You can do it all winter/spring time as well. The fruits can be washed by snow/rain on the surface, but still red inside).
2. Dry for a week or more.
3. Separate the berries from the skeleton using a fork.
4. Sift through a strainer (to clean from the insects’ excrements.
5. Store in a glass/ceramic jar with a lead. Do not expose to light.
6. Take circa 6-8 full soup spoons of Sumach into a bowl made of enamel /glass/ceramic.
7. Fill up with boiling water, cover with a lead and a thick fabric on top.
8. Heat on the stove at 80C for 30-40 minutes.
9. Leave it covered to cool down.
10. Drain through a non-metal into glass bottles or a jar with lead.
11. Keep away from light. Without refrigerator can stay for a long time. If a spot of mould appear, just take it away with a spoon.
12. Secondary drink can be done with the same berries. If the colour of the drink is still bright, you can do a tertiary drink as well (I usually add some lemon juice to it).
13 Add sugar/honey.
