If the limit of the ratio test is zero, the power series converges for all x values. If the limit is infinity, the power series converges only when x equals c such that the power series is centered at c. If the limit equals an absolute value expression based on x, the interval of convergence will have a finite range. This video provides a plot of the interval of convergence on a number line so you can see how it relates to the radius of convergence. In addition, you must check the endpoints for the interval of convergence using the original power series expressed in sigma notation. This video contains plenty of examples and practice problems.
