️🇪🇨 Ecuadorian presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio has been assassinated by unknown assailants. They shot the politician three times in the head after his election meeting. After a rally in the country’s capital, Quito, an unidentified man ran up to the car of the 59-year-old politician and shot him in the head. Local media write that eight more people were injured. Villavicencio died in the hospital. A year ago, he already announced an assassination attempt - then his house was shot down.
