Best Writing Game for Teens: Boost Your Students’ Writing Skills and Have Fun!

This writing game for teens is for creative writing practice, vocabulary revision and past tenses practice: Past Simple and Past Continuous. You will only need A4 pieces of paper (one for every student) and a pen for every student. The game is called Writing Carousel because in this activity students write stories, answering the teacher’s questions but the stories that the students write “move“ around the classroom from student to student after every question. As the result, every story will be written by severeal students. That is the reason why they can be very funny and unpredictable. My students enjoy this activity a lot. While playing Writing Carousel, students will write, listen, evaluate and discuss unpredictable and funny stories written by them. It is suitable for large and small groups. It’s up to the teacher to decide on the number and type of questions. If you teach kindergarten or primary school, check this link for more useful games ___________________________
