’Lepota’ — a film study of Russian culture from the origins of the Cyrillic alphabet and folk crafts to constructivism, Soviet DIY, and metamodernism. Analyzing the visual language of Russian icons, searching for motives of folk costumes in modern fashion, looking at the baroque, classicism, Art Nouveau, and other styles from the standpoint of today’s design.
