Diversity and Representation in Magic the Gathering

Mark Rosewater has shared WotC’s official policy on increasing representation and diversity in MtG. Does the myriad of blog posts and art changes actually make Magic the Gathering better? Or is Wizards of the Coast just preaching to us? We’ve been seeing an uptick in the number of Black, Asian, female, trans, or non-binary characters being portrayed in the card art, with Hasbro/WotC specifically asking for this from artists. It’s important that all characters, even the White and male ones, are feeling included in Magic.
