WAR GODS : Endgame 301 AD : ARTZAN calls upon the Pagan Army

Renaissance Artist Vahe Berberian depicts Artzan, the pagan high priest of Armenia at the time of it’s Christianization (early 4th Century, the first Kingdom to adapt the new faith as its state religion.) This pivotal battle occurs at the end of the first East of Byzantium Graphic Novel, WAR GODS, and even more impressively, Vahe improvised this scene on set during the shoot, not once but four times. His performance informed the scene as depicted in the Graphic Novel. Directed by VFX veteran and EOB Creator Roger Kupelian (Space Jam, the Lord of the Rings Trilogy).
