Making A Siberian Yakut Knife -- Part 3

In this final part to Making A Siberian Yakut Knife I show how to make a one piece wooden sheath. There are other ways to make wood sheaths but this is how I chose to do it. Over all it’s not that difficult, can be make with materials on hand, doesn’t require special tools & is light and strong. For this sheath I chose insert an elm core to make fitting the blade easier as well to add strength to the curly, short grain of the maple. В этой заключительной части «Создание сибирского якутского ножа» я покажу, как сделать цельную деревянную оболочку. Есть и другие способы сделать деревянные ножны, но именно так я решил это сделать. В целом, это не так сложно, его можно сделать из материалов под рукой, не требовать специальных инструментов, оно легкое и прочное.
