Deeds of Flesh - Catacombs of the Monolith | Darren Cesca Drum Practice

In this video Darren Cesca performs the song Catacombs of the Monolith off our recent album, Nucleus released on Unique Leader Records. Darren had this to say... Catacombs was a fun track for me. When approaching the writing process, it appeared to be really built on the opening riff that then comes back around at the conclusion. With that style of composition, I wanted to have the drum parts evolve throughout the riff. On the ending of the track, it really builds throughout, going from blasts beats and fills, to a half-time groove, ending on a furious blast section fitting in splash cymbal accents. The middle of song has some crazy twists and turns as well. Thanks for all the support with this release. It’s awesome to have added another album to the Deeds of Flesh catalog.
