Massive State Record 120lb Sturgeon caught while Ice FIshing!

Here’s a Sturgeon I caught on 2/9/19. The fish measured 78 x 29.5 and estimated around 120lbs. The fish was caught on the St Croix River in Minnesota. Since I know everyone will ask, here is a list of the the gear I used. Rod: Wolfram Custom 40“ Heavy Reel: Okuma Ceymar C40 Line: Sufix 40lb Lure: Homemade beads with treble hook. Bait: Fatheads and Crawlers. Update: This fish was officially declared the State Record at 78“ on 2/14/19
