The Les Humphries Singers - Mexico (Ruud’s Extended Mix)

The Les Humphries Singers was a singing group from the early Seventies, founded by Les Humphries (10 augustus 1940 - 26 december 2007). The singers ware from many different countries and some of them went their seperate ways after a while(Liz Mitchell would become very popular with Boney M, Linda Ubelherr became part of Silver Convention and John Lawton joined Uriah Heep). The song ’Mexico’ was originally entitled ’Battle Of New Orleans’, and was a country hit for Johnny Horton in the Sixties.
