VICTIM - Power Hungry - [FULL ALBUM 1983]

🔘These VICTIM from San Diego, . were formed in the early eighties and only released two self-financed albums, this being POWER HUNGRY the first. In it you will find a typical American heavy for 1983 (a style that many others practiced more or less around the same time, or a few years later such as PREDATOR, MAX HAVOC, and ο ΜOX NIX). If I have to stay with only three songs I would choose VICTIM, the fast and bordering on American power POWER HUNGRY, and THE BRIDGE. I have to add that I really like the singer. he sometimes he remembers ROB HALFORD, and from time to time he hits some screams that would leave you deaf. I had already done a review of this album for the issue but I felt like doing a new one and here it is: high-level US METAL is what we find in this first work of the band. Heavy like SHOK PARIS, RUFFIANS, LIEGE LORD, WILD DOGS etc... and although these VICTIM are the least known of those I have named, they were at their level. Listen for example to POWER HUNGRY, THE BRIDGE which is incredible and it is humanly impossible to make a truer heavier song than this one, SHE’S A SAVAGE or the power ballad ERIN. In short, one of the great albums of 1983 released in the United States along with TYRANT by JAG PANZER, DELIVER US by WARLORD, GUILTY AS CHARGED by CULPRIT or the debut of HELLION. Great year for US METAL without a doubt.
