U.S. Army awards contract to Oshkosh for next-generation Medium Tactical Vehicles

# #Oshkosh #TacticalVehicles The U.S. Army has awarded the Oshkosh Defense, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation, a contract for the next-generation variant of its Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles. According to a company news release, Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) has awarded Oshkosh Defense a $152 million delivery order for 541 Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) A2 variant. The FMTV A2 is an advanced version of the FMTV A1P2, which has been in service with the U.S. Army since 1988 as a primary mover for weapons, sensors and communications platforms.
