Welcome to , the center for handcrafted miniatures. Today we are taking you behind the scenes for a sneak peek at the skill and detail our craftsmen put into each miniland light. Now we can’t show you everything because many of minilands manufacturing techniques are our secrets that we cannot share. Here is one work station in our lighting area. We are soldering the candle holder to the base of the pipe that connects to the lights body. You can see this part circled in red on this finished beautiful crystal chandelier. We solder all the pipes to the center body of the chandelier this way. Our lights are made of metal and are carefully soltered into beautiful designs. Our lights are never painted. The smooth finish you see on the metal of all of our lights is from a chemical process called electroplating. Electroplating is a technique used to cover one metal with another copper to brass and is what makes our lights so shiny and bright. El
