Levels of knowledge: know-that & know-how

The most widely spread knowledge is a descriptive one. It answers the question, “What is that?“. But it is not enough to “know that“ when you solve a particular problem. To solve problems, we need functional and instrumental knowledge. These types of knowledge answer the question “How to do that?“.
