Dina Nour - Sehnsucht

Sehnsucht is my first piece in which I start mixing the tunes with the electronic effects. Some apple loops brought together with the own improvisation on the piano. With orient and central asian motives I tried to express my Sehnsucht (from germ. “longing“) towards the vast steppes of Kazakhstan. J. Medeshov presents here his exceptional photography from his series “Kokpar“. Kokpar is a traditional Kazakh horse game. The horse-riders of the two teams try to snatch a goat’s carcass and bring it to their half of the field outside the special line. The more times the team brings the goat’s carcass outside the special line the more points the team will get.
