Michaela Jaé Rodriguez accepts the Stephen F. Kolzak Award at the GLAAD Media Awards

Andrew Garfield presented the Stephen F. Kolzak Award to Michaela Jaé Rodriguez at the GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles. Garfield said, “When she first appeared as Blanca on Pose in 2018, the world fell in love with her as she evolved from dutiful ’daughter’ to fierce house mother, fighting every battle – including HIV – with grace, laughter, tears and determination.“ Rodriguez said, “I want to thank GLAAD for elevating and celebrating the voices of trans and nonbinary people.
