After having been out of view for many months in established lava tubes, a large stream of lava was forced onto the surface when one of the tubes going through the Royal Gardens subdivision became blocked. This footage was recorded at about the 1500 foot elevation and three miles from the ocean. It is very near the existing lava tube which is feeding the Waikupanaha ocean entry near Kalapana.
