Amtrak in Upstate NY 1999 - Part 2

F40s, P32AC-DMs and P42s through upstate New York on the Empire corridor during the summer of 1999. Clip 1: F40 #411 heads eastbound with the Maple Leaf (train 64) at Pump Road on June 20, 1999 as the in-camera caption blocks most of the view. At least the caption was fitting for an F40! The train has an Adirondack heritage coach on the rear. Clip 2: P32AC-DM 703 heads east at Pump Road Clip 3: P32AC-DM 712 heads west at Pump Road and a horn battle ensues. Clip 4: F40 #265 bring the westbound Maple Leaf through Centerport, NY at MP 313 on the Chicago Line. Clip 5: P32AC-DM #709 leads an Empire Service train westbound at Pump Road at twilight. Clip 6: P32AC-DM #703 brings the Salt City Express into the Regional Transportation Center at Syracuse, NY. This Friday only train would terminate in Syracuse, go around the wye and deadhead back to Albany. Engineers Jack and Dan put on a horn show after going around the wye and the stack shoots fire as they notch up.
