High Moisture Ear Corn Harvest near Bad Axe Michigan
In this video I am out in the field north of Bad Axe Michigan as they chop high moisture ear corn for silage Class Jaguar 970 & 990 self propelled forage harvesters with 12 row corn heads (Case IH & Gerringhoff) to harvest the corn. This process pretty much takes in the completed ear of corn where it is hauled back to the farm and pushed and packed onto a silage pile and will be used to feed the farms holstein steers over the next year.
This farm also runs a Versatile 520 tractor and a Versatile 610 track tractor (Delta Track) and I was able to get some footage of the 520 pulling a chisel plow and will have an upcoming video of that.
