How to Bead Twisted Tubular Herringbone Stitch with Two Colors Tutorial

✿ Hey beautiful! It’s Gina from . In today’s tutorial I will show you how to create a simple seed bead rope while learning the twisted tubular herringbone beading stitch, using two different colors. I will create a separate video to teach the twisted tubular herringbone technique in more than two colors, in the future. Since this is a technique video, we will not be creating a finished piece this time. Instead, I will show you how to begin beading tubular herringbone, how to tie off, and add new thread, and we will discuss some options for ending the rope. This bead weaving basic technique has many off-shoots, including 3 color twisted tubular herringbone, which I will share soon, in a separate video. It’s also possible to complete this design using a single color, or to create various horizontal and vertical striped patterns, and more. Have fun exploring this versatile bead weaving stitch! ✿ Recommended Materials: ✔ Japanese Seed Beads in size 8/0 or 11/0 ✔ Beading Needle, Size 10 or 11 ✔ 6lb. I have the utmost respect for other artists, and the time/energy behind their original designs. I will always make a point to give credit where credit is due because I expect the same in return. Of course, in some rare circumstances, artists’ beading designs may overlap in certain ways; after all, there are only so many combinations in which beads may be put together. It’s possible for artists to simply “be on the same wavelength.” “Great minds think alike,“ and all that. :) ✿ Selling: You may sell any of the jewelry you have made from my tutorials. If you are able to credit, or tag me, as the designer, it is much appreciated. ✿ Commenting: I am honored to have you here! I state this to let you know (1) how passionate I am about what I do, and (2) as a fellow human, I make mistakes, and do the best I can while also trying to maintain a work-life balance.
