Versailles, Paris NEW FRENCH PRESIDENT GV. Congress in Versailles. Mr Andre Le Troquer, President of the Congress announces results and election of Mr Rene Coty. Members stand up and loudly applaud the President-elect, before the signing of the Marseillaise. Troquer and members of the Bureau, with Prime Minister Laniel. Mr Monnerville retires to the Investiture Room, where Mr Laniel presents the report of the meeting to president-elect Rene Coty. Mr Laniel greets Mr. Coty, and Coty delivers a short speech. After ceremony, the new President accompanied by Troquer, Joseph Laniel and other officials walk down the Galerie Des Bustes between two rows of Republican guards.
