Castle Cake Tutorial (Fully Edible/No Polystyrene Turrets)

Hello and welcome! In this weeks video, I’m sharing how I created this castle cake. A lot of the castle cakes I see have several layers and many turrets which are just inedible. I like to make sure you can eat as much as possible from my creations and this scaled down one is perfect for smaller celebrations. For the rice cereal treats - 45g Butter 300g Marshmallows 180g Rice cereal 1tsp Vanilla extract Melt the butter in a pan on a medium heat and then add in your marshmallows and vanilla extract. Make sure the marshmallows have completely melted and then remove from the heat. Stir in the rice cereal and make sure it is fully coated. Scoop into a greased and lined 9’’ pan and press down gently until flat. This will be super sticky so make sure you grease your hands with butter or oil first and to use silicone spatulas! Allow to cool and slice into 24 pieces. I used half the mix for my turret and had some left over for nibbling on!
