Clashes, arrests amid Istanbul protest marking Elimination of Violence Against Women Day

Over 100 people were detained following scuffles that broke out near Istanbul’s iconic Taksim Square, as locals defied a govt ban and road closures, to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
