Hey, Converted a 10x8 tom into a snare yesterday and thought i’d share the result.
Cost me £50 in snare parts, and i think it sounds pretty good for that budget.
The strainer is made my Gretsch, The buttend (retainer) is Gibraltar. the snare wires are pearl, heads are Remo.
My sticking techniques suck, i know, but it’s only a demo.
the two clips vary in sound as the placement of the camera is different, the first clip it is above the snare, the second it is below.
