a collection of pictures from afghanistan dating back as far as 1879. these pictures show how much more modern and beautiful afghanistan was in the past, before the many changes in government soviet invasion. which started a snowball effect that destroyed these beautiful places and left afghanistan the way it is today. also featured are photos of: -the late king amanullah khan(1919-1929), -his queen, queen soraya.
