Astra rocket suffers anomaly during orbital launch attempt

Space startup Astra attempted to launch their 43-foot-tall (13 meters) Launch Vehicle 006 from Alaska on Aug. 28, 2021. It suffered an anomaly after failed to reach orbit. It was carrying a mass-simulator test payload for the Department of Defense’s Space Test Program. Full Story: Credit: Astra /
