Sometimes, we get these moments in life when we are overwhelmed with gratitude and joy at the realization that we are alive and part of the world. These precious moments reveal our profound connection with all living beings, and inspire us to become messengers of love and joy. Over the years, we have built cars, ships, and planes to see more of the world while also building cages and enclosures that deny billions of animals the ability to see the world at all. These miserable animals could have been messengers of joy, but instead, they spread their suffering. Their immense suffering, no matter how much we try to keep it tucked away, is causing non-stop butterfly effects that are making the whole world less joyful and loving. In order for us to experience more blissful moments and the joy of connectivity, we must stop harming billions of innocent animals, and start to allow them to become what they are so naturally good at.
