If your line is too tight or short, you won’t have enough time to finish your rotation before reaching the bottom of the bounce. --- The chest roll is usually started from a buttbounce to chestbounce. The main difference in the chestbounce is that your leg remains off the line until the bottom of the bounce. --- When you are nearing the bottom of the bounce, you wrap your lower leg under the line and begin to lock the toe-side of your foot over the line.
