Israel in Shock as Turkey Laying Sanctions and Cutting Off Oil Supply

Despite Israeli forces expanding their attack on Gaza and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan raising his rhetoric against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, Ankara is defying calls to halt essential oil deliveries to Israel.
Welcome everyone, in today’s video; we’re going to tell you Turkey Laying Sanctions and Cutting Off Oil Supply
Super tankers continue to transport oil to Israel from the Turkish port of Ceyhan. Pipelines from Azerbaijan and Iraqi Kurdistan terminate at the Mediterranean coast, transforming Turkey into a significant oil supplier to Israel.

Israel in Shock as Turkey Laying Sanctions and Cutting Off Oil Supply
“Azerbaijan or Iraqi Kurdistan supply the majority of Israel’s oil consumption,“ says London Energy Club expert Mehmet Ogutcu.
“According to the most recent estimates, Azerbaijan supplies about 40% of Israel’s oil requirements. It travels all the way to Ceyhan before being moved to an Israeli port and then to one of the refineries “Ogutcu expands.
However, as the death toll from Israel’s invasion of Gaza climbs, calls for Turkey to halt oil supply grow louder.
Earlier this month, during a meeting in Ankara with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, Iran’s foreign minister Hossein Amirabdollahian asked countries sending oil to Israel to cut their supplies, a request Fidan turned down.
Turkey and Iran put their disagreements aside because the Gaza situation provided common ground.
Despite Erdogan’s increasingly hostile rhetoric toward Israel, oil exports from Turkey to Israel continue. There are also concerns about the effectiveness of any embargo enforced by Turkey.
“I don’t believe Israel will suffer in any way because oil is plentiful in global markets,“ Ogutcu said. He claims that even if Turkey cuts off Israel’s supply, “they may import it from Brazil, Canada, or some of the African states where they have good relations.“
“If my calculations are correct, Israeli consumption is roughly 225,000 barrels per day. That is not a substantial sum. It can be obtained easily through long-term contracts or on the spot market “He goes on.
However, Turkey has other options if it wants to strike a blow against Israel.
“Turkey may shut down the Kurecik radar station near Malatya, Turkey,“ says Ilhan Uzgel, an international affairs specialist and columnist for Turkey’s Kisa Dalga news portal.
So far, Erdogan has rejected all of these options. “He has to impress his audience, so he says difficult things,“ Uzel explains. “It’s not hurting anyone; it’s just words at the end of the day.“
Turkey has been chastised for classifying Hamas as a “liberation“ organisation.
Erdogan continues to spread anti-Israel propaganda, even referring to Hamas as a liberation organisation while personally assaulting Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu. Despite this, the Turkish president’s actions remain more circumspect.
