Birmingham. Intertitle: “DUKE of YORK attends Rally of the Boy Scouts Association“. M/S of the Duke (Prince Albert, later George VI) , in military uniform, with two army officers. They are walking between a crowd of onlookers and a troop of soldiers standing to attention. M/S of the Duke and his companions walking up and down, inspecting the soldiers. M/S of several men and women in ceremonial robes coming out of the entrance to a civic building followed the Duke - who salutes - and the Mayor. M/S of the Duke, dressed in civilian clothes, coming out of a very old building. He shakes hands with several dignitaries waiting outside, before posing for a photograph.
