Flower Parade of the Bollenstreek kicks off in the Netherlands

Hundreds have visited the Dutch town of Noordwijk to witness the spectacular ‘Flower Parade of the Bollenstreek’. The procession of 16 floats of all shapes and sizes, decorated with thousands of brightly coloured spring flowers, travels a staggering 42km, starting at Noordwijk Beach in the morning and finishing in the center of Haarlem City the following day.
